Summer 2010 Bathing Suits!!

We have finally arrived back in Saskatchewan, Canada!! It is great to arrive in the Spring as the snow has all melted and the cold has already blown away - Oh how I love the endless summer!! It is especially great to see everybody getting excited to enjoy the sun and plan their summer wardrobe which includes bathing suits. Since most of my bathing suits are completely destroyed from the sun,  the sun screen and the powerful ocean waves, I am also on the look out for a shiny new bathing suit!! While I have been dreaming of a 50's style one piece, there are also a lot of great bikinis out there this season. I thought I would post a few of my favorites!!

I love the Feminine touch of the floral pattern and the ruffles!!

Oscar Fashion 2010

Sunday was Oscar night and I must say that it is not one of my most anticipated days of the year - finding out who wins what but it is a great night to see which of the fashion trends made it from the runway out onto the red carpet. And although I actually didn't get to watch the Oscars due to a freak power outage, I did manage to pick up on a few trends within the reviews.

1. As seen on the runway as well as the red carpet were alot of soft pastels which I absolutely loved. Sporting the pastels, and wearing Elli Saab, Rachel McAdams was definitely my favorite. She is not only Canadian, but fashionable and stunning as well.

2. Another trend incorportaed into Rachel McAdmas dress was the abstract print, which was also worn by Maggie Gylenahaul, which was a close second for me.

3. There was general trend of softness and femininity with lots of ruffles, frills and lace. Mylie Cyres pulled this one off flawlessly in Jenny Packham.

4. And finally in a trend leaning towards old Hollywood glamour, Sara Jessica Parker looked stunning her gold Chanel Haute Couture.

Who was your favorite??

Hope you enjoyed the show,

Fendi Spring Summer 2010

While the spring sumer 2010 season is full of whimsical, Parisian inspired, tattered edges and pastel colors, the Fendi Ready to Wear line has encompassed all of these trends in their line. I picked out a few of my favorite looks which are inspiring me this season. If you want to check out the entire collection you can do so here at Fendi SS 2010 Ready to Wear

I love love love this skirt. She looks like she means business but so feminine at the same time.

I love this dress. So pretty and light. And the belt just gives it that little bit of extra. I'm happy to see that belts are still appearing on the runways as you can do so much with them.
Check out these shoes!! I think they are great minus the heel as I am a flats girl!!

Ciao for now,
Karen
