Watching the game on television is all good and well, but nothing beats courtside seats and another opportunity to flaunt your stellar wardrobe. Better yet, if you’re on a date why not show your potential lover that you can do cute and still be “down” with the game knowledge. What man doesn’t want a lady who knows the names, history and stats of all her favorite players while still rocking three inch stilettos? Black is Back…

Tyra Banks, Iman, Kimora Lee Simmons and Alek Wek are going to grace the cover of Ebony magazine’s September issue, out August 13th. The issue celebrates the influence of Blacks in fashion. The 50 page spread will pay homage to everyone from fashion designers, stylists, models and fashion icons. "A lot of the times the fashion world doesn't give a lot of attention to American Black girls from urban areas," notes Banks on Page 64. "I don't mean to pat my own back, but America's Next Top Model pulled down the curtain to this world that people thought they couldn't be a part of. Now every girl is like, 'I want to be a model.' I feel like the world is more accessible, but by no means is it less prestigious." Tell it sista! Be sure to pick up a copy next Monday.

I don’t know folks, this hairstyle on Sanaa Lathan is looking a little busted and the dress didn’t need the tights. I think it’s a ‘Nay’ although she still looks cute like only Sanaa could. Look out for Ms. Lathan in the TV adaptation of “A Raisin in the Sun.” She'll be starring alongside the recent Broadway cast which includes Diddy, Audra McDonald, and Phylicia Rashad. I actually helped promote and watched this play when it debuted on Broadway back in '04.

Meanwhile Tyra needs to stop the persistent madness. A woman this beautiful must really be messing up to look this bad. Let’s begin with her hairline which consistently shows the lace from her wig. Then how could you miss the fake eyelashes that look like spiders on vacation. She’s wearing entirely too much makeup and the dress is not flattering her curvy figure. Is the lace part of the original dress? Who knows? A big fat NAY!

The 58th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards aired last night on NBC and here are some of the red carpet arrivals... I didn't even watch the show but from these pictures the event looked very blah, blah, blah. I love Tyra and Eva's dresses and the two couples at the bottom look great, but other then that they weren't many highlights. On another note, is Heidi expecting another baby?... She stays pregnant!

I'm on the fence when it comes to wearing so many necklaces at once. If I do try this trend I will probably wear several, similar necklaces as opposed to ones that clash. Either way we can credit super-stylist-to-the-stars Rachel Zoe for intiating this trend. She's the person responsible for turning Nicole Richie from a fashion joke to a modern day style icon! I'm glad Tyra's talk show is doing well. When I first heard about it I was sure it would be cancelled within the first few weeks, since talks shows are so hard to maintain. She seems to have found her niche, and while the show could ease up on the 'beauty specials' and America's Next Top Model 'exclusives,' I think overall she's doing a great job.
