Celebrity Nails

It's spring nail colors and bold, vibrant are again in fashion.
Different shades of blue, from navy to aqua, orange, purple or pink lights are among the hottest features.
For the classic, basic black remains, as well as red.
The less daring can choose nude shades or pastels.

Booty-licious

Kate Moss candid in Notting Hill before meeting an unidentified friend for lunch at Zucca in 2004, London.
Ugh, I’m mad at how cold it is. Today walking around in D.C. was treacherous. Every step a negotiation. I know other states have it much worse but the slushy snow put me in a bad mood. To make matters worse I was so unprepared. I have boots, but they aren’t completely flat and the sole’s grip is worn down. I’m currently on a quest to find some cute, flat and functional knee-high boots that’ll see me through the rest of winter but take me effortlessly into the next season. Think suede boots and denim skirts in spring.

Dress To Impress...

I prefer Summer/Spring fashion over Winter/Fall, but that isn’t going to stop me finding the right items to update my wardrobe. Turtlenecks never seem to go out of style, however this season they’ve extended into dresses, making them the ideal office outfit. Like the ladies above, accentuate your waist (or create one!) with a chunky leather belt then just add boots.

Shake Your Booty!

If ankle boots are not quite your thing then try these tan colored, knee-high boots that are surfacing all over the shops. They look great with jeans or a dress and just imagine a great winter coat draped on top of your outfit. Boots teamed with a trench coat is a look that’ll never go out of style. And while you’re here take a moment to admire Kate Moss’ pair… if anyone knows who designed them please let me know - I want them!

This collection is for the girlie-girl in us. I hope some of the designers in the eagerly awaited Fall/Winter 2007 Olympus Fashion Week, showcase some beautiful, airy and light dresses and skirts - just because the sun is leaving us, doesn't mean our flirty side should! And since some of us have started looking for the perfect coat, the Floral Brocade one (pictured above) is perfect for Fall's special occasions.

VMA's continued...

Lorianne of MTV's 'Making the Band' and La La
Vanessa Millino and Paris Hilton (!)
Danity Kane and The Simmons family - It's been a good year for both groups.
Inside the VMA's... Nicole and Jessica.
Rihanna & Cassie and sisters, Solange and Beyonce.

I think Solange, Beyonce and Jessica Simpson look stunning in the above pics. Black hair definitely suits Solange it warms up her face which sounds like a funny thing to say, but golden blonde hair doesn't work on everyone. MTV presenter Vanessa Millino, wore a simply gorgeous dress and her colleague, La La looked nice, but I'm not fully convinced by hers! Paris Hilton and Lorianne need to go sit down somewhere. I'll never know what possesed both of them to wear those boots!

Wrap Stars!

In 1974, Diane von Furstenberg made fashion history by inventing the infamous 'wrap dress'. Demostrated here by the lovely ladies above, the wrap dress provides the ultimate day-to-evening look. This dress has stood the test of time, mainly because it never fails at making you look classy while letting you be comfortable, all at the same time! See below for some of the best wrap dresses out there...

Teen Choice Awards 2006...

Luda and Marlon Wayans

The 2006 Teen Choice Awards took place last night and a lot of the big stars came out to play! Rihanna, Christina and the Jessica's looked fabulous as usual. I love both Nelly Furtado and Rihanna's dresses - very different! The boys opted for a more casual look, not too sure about Luda's sneakers, but overall everyone looks great... A-!

I Think I'll Pass!...

Jessica Simpson, Gabrielle Union and Nicole Richie are all channeling 'Alice in Wonderland' with this look

I haven't worn a headband since I was six! Behind my ears would always ache after wearing one for an hour, but I digress... It seems i'm the last one to catch on to this trend and even though I don't think i'll purchase one myself, I thought i'd spotlight the trend for those of you out there who are feeling them :) Shout-outs to Malinda Williams who is such a cutie!

Surprisingly I don't own a pair of wedges / espadrilles even though they've been around for years!! I imagine they'd be so much more comfortable than regular heels, because they offer more support? Either way i'm going to buy my first pair soon because they look so cute! I especially like how funky they are, no other shoe can take such adorning and still look stylish. See how the celebs rock theirs above, then scroll down for where to buy a pair for yourselves...
