Mango Online!

One of my favorite international shops has now entered the U.S. market via online shop. This is one of my favorite places to stop in when traveling abroad. They have many shops throughout South America and Europe. I had heard a rumor that they were going to break into the US market via online store. I am just happy it happened so quickly. Alas european style at a fraction of the price. Shop your little hearts away.

Jovovich Hawk

I was recently turned onto this line by a friend of mine. It is designed by model and actress Milla Jovovich and Carmen Hawk. The clothing is feminine and comfortable yet at the sametime edgy. The design duo is based out of L.A. and their line can be found at Fred Segel.

The Perfect Suit

I have been doing some serious searching for my annual suit purchase. And I think I have found the one. The Heather suit by Billabong has a patchwork halter w/ removable soft cups & fixed hanky tie side lowrider bottoms. I really like the asymmetric. pattern.

So I finally traded my boring black canvas back for this new carry all by Bambina di Cioccolato. It is super soft and stylee and can fit all the stuff I haul to work and back everyday. It even fits my laptop!

The Mini Wedge

Alas! They have finally arrived. All of the style of a cork wedge without the ankle twisting height. This pair by Dolce Vita. Just in time for the warm weather too.

Sexy Prints

I love these prints dresses by Nieves Lavi. The tropical inspired patterns and flowy material look super comfortable but are still ultra chic. A pair of shimmery metallic sandles and a long chain necklace and you are set. Pool, terrace, wine country you name it. The price however is steep (this one pictured retails for $355.00 ) But not to worry I am sure there will be knock offs a plenty.

Thick to Thin Belts

I love the look of these new thick to thin belts. This one is by Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent. They are especially great for adding shape to flowy dresses, skirts and tunics.

Magnets!

I don't know about you but I am constantly on the hunt for cool magnets. No really. I especially like to bring them back from places I travel abroad. So that my refrigerator is a little collage of my life, friends, family, postcards, wedding invitations etc. It makes me feel happy in the morning to stare up at all of these things while I am sipping my OJ. And these magnets by Tobi Wood are the perfect size and make a fun little additon. Right next to the ceramic lobster.

Price: $10.00 for set of four.

I Spy with My Little Eye

The aviator sunglasses reborn. These sunglasses by Dita Eyewear would make anyone look like a star but what I like about them is they are not too over the top. Well maybe a little over the top. They recapture the sunkissed Miami Vice era but have been cleverly reworked for modern times. This one is called the Pusher.

Sidepony Cards

Sidepony has some very clever notecards. Handcrafted by Los Angeles based designer Kimberly Dawn Robertson. I especially love how she uses 70's vintage illustrations in a more contemporary way creating designs that are really fresh. The "miss you dearly" card is one of my favorites. She also has some fun one's for Mother Day.

Dream a Little Dream

"The Laurel Denise Jewelry line came to Laurel in a dream in the middle of the night. Months that seemed like days passed and Laurel's small room quickly became a studio, completely covered in sterling silver & gold chain, glass, scraps of paper, and sketches. Many tested designs, tested materials, and glass cuts later, Laurel Denise Jewelry Design was born."

These necklaces are small pieces of delicate art that Laurel creates through illustration and glass work. I think they are absolutely beautiful and like ittle treasues to be worn and make everyday more special.

Addict Slip On Shoe

This new Addict Slip on by BC Footware is just what the Spring BBQ's are made for. It's a new spin on the omni present Checkered Van but I think it's better. The floral pattern makes it more feminine and not every other person in LA will have a pair (at least not yet).

Available at ShopIntuition and Nordstrom

1980 or 2020?

Either way these handbags are sure to turn a few heads. Kling handbag designer Natasha is currently established in Saint Louis and her handbags can be found at the Contemporary Art Museum. Her background in mixed media construction and love for fashion and accessories spawned Kling Bags. I am not even sure what these bags are made of, all I know is they are sleek and sexy and make me want to rock out to Robert Palmers.

Sum Design Wallpaper

When I lived in NYC this summer I came across this awesome designer Susie Mendive. She does a variety of graphic prints for home wares, pillow, trays, and journals. My favorite though is this wall paper she designed. It has inspired me to do some more creative decorating in my home, I haven’t found the right wall for this mural yet but soon.

A New Take on Vintage

I recently discovered this hot new label called Black Label San Francisco. The designer Rita DiLorenzo has some brilliant designs that are environmentally responsible yet still super chic. She incorporates raw, recycled and vintage materials into her clothing. So each piece has a vintage aesthetic mixed with more modern lines.
