Brett Lee enters Bollywood

Australian cricketer Brett Lee is all set to enter Bollywood with the movie “Victory”, starring Harman Baweja in the lead role.

Besides Brett Lee, a handful of other cricket players like Australians, Brad Hogg, Stuart Clarke and Mike Hussey and Indians, Yusuf Pathan, RP Singh and Pravin Kumar have cameos in the film.

Harman Baweja plays the role of a small town boy who makes it big in the world of cricket and Brett Lee plays himself who helps Baweja’s character achieve his dreams.
On working with newcomer Harman Baweja, Lee says it was a whole new experience. “It was a lot of fun. We helped each other out throughout the movie. I taught him a few shots while he gave him me acting tips,” he recalls.

Apart from claiming wickets, Lee shares a passion for music. In the past he did a song and music video for legendary singer Asha Bhonsle’s album.

Next on the anvil, Lee is adding finishing touches to a music video. “There are six to seven songs in Hindi and in English in the album. I had been working on it with friends for the last six months,” he reveals

Sometimes I Think Too Much...

...and sometimes I don't think at all.

The Godfather Style

I have a penchant for menswear... I admire the care and skill that goes into creating a bespoke suit, and the strong sense of tradition and history behind the art of tailoring. Also, guys generally look better in suits. I'd love to go to Italy for a couple of years and do an apprenticeship with a master tailor...the language barrier could be a bit of a problem...also, I'm not very patient when it comes to the needle and thread. But still!

Anyways, I digress...The Godfather...definitely one of my favorite movies, for the catchy theme song, the food, the pairing of a young Al Pacino and a young Diane Keaton, the drama, a mind-blowingly talented Marlon Brando and the costuming! Great costuming...The flashbacks to the early twentieth century in Part II were awesome too.

I Heart Lovisa Burfitt

Lovisa Burfitt is a Swedish fashion illustrator and designer based in Paris. Check out her mad skills:

She was also commissioned to create some murals for H&M...

...and, and, and she is the designer of a womenswear collection!

Talk about multi-talented! She's a fashion industry triple threat - illustrator, visual merchandiser and designer.

Selita Ebanks

Selita Ebanks attends The Cinema Society and Sony Cierge screening of 'The Wackness' on June 25, 2008 at AMC Loews 19th Street in New York.
Selita Ebanks has me wanting to wear leather for the first time since 1992. This look is effortlessly stylish without all the pretension. And now can we focus on the clutch? If anyone knows who makes it let us all know. The Givenchy heels she has on are a wardrobe must but I'm guessing most of us can't fathom spending $900 plus on them so check out the Steve Madden copies below...

Steal Selita's Style...

Blazer: Modern Tux Jacket, $110, www.topshop.com
Skirt: Silk Raw Hem Leather Mini (shown without hem), www.nexternal.com Heels: Ginn, $199.95, www.stevenmadden.com
Necklace: 40 Multi Bead Cord Necklace, $8, www.wetseal.com
Clutch: Danni Pomegrante Clutch, $36, www.amiciaccessories.com
Top: Cotton Seamless Knit Camisole, $48, www.maxstudio.com

This look requires maximum attitude but minimum styling effort. Let the leather skirt and the Givenchy Strappy Open Toe Ankle Bootie knock-offs do all the talking whilst the laid back cool of the tuxedo blazer and the statement bag add the finishing touches. Your probably wondering where you could pull off such a look, but a house party or cocktail hour on a rooftop bar are the perfect venues to debut your ultra cool side. Have fun!
