The internet has been buzzing with the news/photos of Solange's new hair cut. Why did she chop all her hair off? Has she gone crazy? Did she do it because she's going bald underneath all that weave?! Sometimes there's no conspiracy. Nor no explanation needed. Here's a novel idea: maybe she just wanted a change. Either way, Solange has stepped out of her sister's shadow and displays the character and poise of a woman coming into her own. I say Yay to the hairstyle and, of course, the outfit. The jury is still out on the shoes...

Summer is here and it's the only time of year when women over the age of 18 can get away with wearing a mini-skirt. Don't be conventional and wear just denim. Floral prints are in and oh-so-pretty. Take a cue from Solange Knowles (pictured above). She's paired a simple, white wife-beater with a playful, bright skirt to create summer's ultimate laid back 'n' chic look. Gladiator sandals and the perfect pedicure will complete the look.

How hard must it be to have an older sister who's considered by most to be more talented, beautiful and stylish than you? Gotta suck, huh? Well, Ms. Solange Knowles doesn't think so. She's finally making a name for herself on the music scene and the red carpet. While some my call her style somewhat 'contrived', I think her eclectic taste is refreshing and endearing. She's not afraid to take risks and puts her own twist on the latest trends. You can review some of her recent looks below, but what do you think of her outfit above worn at a recent appearance at the Late Show with David Letterman. I'm going to say 'yay'! Whilst most of us would look mentally unstable in such an ensemble, Sol-Angel and her glamorous lifestyle pull it off. All hail the underdog!

Fuchsia pink seems to be the latest color of choice for celebrities. A figure-hugging dress in hot pink is bound to attract attention although I’d personally opt for a more subtle shape, like the one Lorianne Gibson (Making the Band) is wearing. See below for some tips.

I think Solange, Beyonce and Jessica Simpson look stunning in the above pics. Black hair definitely suits Solange it warms up her face which sounds like a funny thing to say, but golden blonde hair doesn't work on everyone. MTV presenter Vanessa Millino, wore a simply gorgeous dress and her colleague, La La looked nice, but I'm not fully convinced by hers! Paris Hilton and Lorianne need to go sit down somewhere. I'll never know what possesed both of them to wear those boots!

It's all about promotion people and the above ladies aren't messing about! Cassie really needs all the help she can get because if you've been reading other entertainment blogs like me, you'll know about the outrage over her 106 & Park performance last night! - Being cute in this world will take you far! As for Danity Kane, i'm actually feeling their style and music, but being signed to Bad Boy has pretty much sealed their fate! I don't know why Solange is promoting that straight-to-DVD mess, but WHATEVER pays the bills! And finally, Miss Eva Mendes, who I personally think is stunning, is out promoting a movie i've heard nothing about!...Get it together Fox Searchlight Pictures!
